Description

At WELSCH, we utilize the limitless shaping possibilities of semi-finished High-Performance Polyurethanes (PUR) and Vulkollan® (Desmodur® 15) to engineer solid components that outlast traditional materials. In the abrasive concrete industry, our PUR solutions provide the ideal recovery profile and mechanical memory.

Demolding & Depalleting Specialists: We manufacture specialized 90–92 Shore-A Vulkollan® tires for depalleting heads. These solid parts offer extreme tear strength and the precise friction required to grip longitudinal pallet flanks without deformation during separation.

Synchronized Transport Tires: High-rebound solid PUR tires for guiding pallets and tiles into and out of Spray Booths and through Small Pack Collators, maintaining dimensional stability over millions of cycles.

Industrial Shock Absorption: We produce high-load Buffers for our Pillar V Knife Cylinders utilizing the high elongation and reversible deformation properties of PUR to absorb high-frequency mechanical shock.

We process semi-finished, high-performance polyurethanes (PUR) from the world's most renowned manufacturers within our strategic manufacturing circle. Our surgical approach to material selection allows us to provide solutions with a hardness range from 35 to 95 Shore-A, offering a technical advantage over traditional rubber in both abrasion resistance and recovery profiles.

Superior Mechanical Recovery: Our PUR elastomers are characterized by an exceptional recovery profile. They are reversibly deformable within calculated limits, returning to their original geometry after unloading.

Thermal & Elastic Versatility: With a functional temperature range from -40 degrees C to +80 degrees C (short-term peaks up to +110 degrees C), our polyurethane components maintain high elongation and elastic behavior in the harshest industrial climates.

Vulkollan -- The Elite Benchmark: For the most demanding applications, we utilize Vulkollan (based on Desmodur 15), manufactured in cast, foamed, or molded forms. With a hardness of 65-92 Shore-A, Vulkollan offers high impact elasticity and low compression set, making it the first choice where conventional plastics and rubbers fail. It provides high tear resistance and is impervious to mineral oils, gasoline, and various industrial solvents.
