Description

The interaction between the drive system and the chain is the most critical wear-point in any extrusion or conveyor line. WELSCH manufactures sprockets that are engineered to maintain absolute profile integrity and provide mechanical safety, even in environments saturated with abrasive concrete dust.

Proprietary Pocket Tooth Sprockets: Specifically developed for the unique engagement geometry of our Rolling Block Link Chains. With outer diameters up to 740 mm and pitch circle diameters up to 690 mm, these double-track sprockets are manufactured either as a single piece or as high-strength assemblies (hub and twin pocket-toothed discs). Utilizing post-hardening EDM recutting and precision grinding ensures the pockets in both discs are perfectly parallel and aligned, preventing "Chain Pin Misalignment."

Industrial Sprocket Inventory: We stock all common sizes from 04B to 32B in simplex, duplex, and triplex configurations, including stainless steel and taper versions. Push Pin Sprockets specialized for converting rotary motion into linear motion, engineered for heavy-duty applications like lock gates or forging manipulators. Individually tailored heat treatment of tooth flanks significantly increases service life.

Advanced Safety -- Shear Pin Overload Protection: Sprockets equipped with calibrated shear pins designed to break at a specific load threshold, preventing damage to the chain and primary drive components during overload events. Rapid recovery by simply replacing the shear pin.

All precision machining operations are completed within our circle using specialized grinding processes after heat treatment. We utilize modern, versatile machinery from renowned European manufacturers to guarantee that every sprocket meets the WELSCH quality standard.
